Strolling through a swarming souq in the medina of ancient Naarda, the wafting Sandalwood sawdust from a Hindu woodworker saturates the senses. NAARDUS [lavender] is piled tall on tables, weeping from walls and cascading from ceilings. Reaching for the same bunch, hands graze and, for a moment, the ephemeral electricity of touch resuscitates the forbidden love from a shared past life.
